Our university's Public Health Nursing Department, Dr. Özden ERDEM, Prof. Dr. Nazan ÇALBAYRAM, and Dr. Rüveyda Ölmez YALAZI, who previously worked at our faculty, achieved a great success at the 9th International 27th National Public Health Medical Congress.

The qualitative study titled "The Views of Individuals with Vaccine Hesitancy Regarding Immunization" received the Third Place Oral Presentation Award in the "Infectious Diseases" special category of the congress. The research reveals the motivations behind the attitudes of individuals experiencing vaccine hesitancy through a qualitative approach. It offers strategic recommendations for ensuring that immunization services, which play a key role in the prevention of infectious diseases, reach all segments of society through effective communication. We congratulate all the professors who contributed to this valuable study, which contributes to the scientific literature and public health!
