The "Career Day in Nursing" event, organized by the Student Career Planning Commission of the Nursing Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences, for the Fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, was held in person at the Troya Cultural Center on December 5, 2025, between 13:30 and 16:30.

At our Career Day in Nursing event, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Evren KARAYEL GÖKKAYA, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Ayten Dinç, and Head of the Nursing Department Prof. Dr. Aysun BABACAN GÜMÜŞ delivered opening speeches. The Deputy Provincial Health Director, Specialist Dr. Huriye ÜNAL, also attended the event.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sevda ATEŞ presented on "Tele-nursing Applications," and Dr. Demet YURTSEVER gave a presentation on “Becoming a Nurse Manager”, Nurse Sevgi Neval OLĞUN ŞEVİK on “Becoming an Emergency Nurse”, Nurse Elif KARATAŞ on “Becoming a Nurse in Intensive Care”, Nurse Nimet TURAN on “Becoming a Nutrition Nurse”, Nurse Sevil BAHADIROĞLU on “Becoming a Nurse in a Disability Care Center”, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sena ERDEN AYHÜN on “From Campus to Career: Career Awareness During Student Life”, and Job and Career Counselor Eylem KARACA on “İŞKUR (Turkish Employment Agency) in Job Applications”. Biga Royal Hospital also had a stand at the event. Approximately 300 students participated in the event, where they had the opportunity to find answers to their questions about their career journeys.
