6–17 January 2026, Prof. Dr. Gülbu Tanrıverdi participated as an invited speaker at the international congress titled Jornadas Internacionais de Saúde Comunitária e Familiar – Desafios, Oportunidades e Inovação, held in Portugal in a hybrid format, and delivered a presentation entitled “Multiculturalism and Migrants.”

The congress also provided visibility to the ongoing academic collaboration between the Department of Nursing at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and the Instituto Politécnico da Guarda within the framework of their existing Erasmus agreement.
