The vocational skills laboratory, prepared with the idea of finding solutions to the problems experienced in clinical practices in nursing education, allows students to carry out basic nursing care and practices in laboratory, which has the closest features to the real clinical environment. The theoretical knowledge that students have acquired in their courses is reinforced with applications in this laboratory, allowing them to receive a quality education. All basic nursing practices that students may encounter in clinical environments are taught in laboratory with real materials used in clinical environments. (Measurement of blood pressure, monitoring of vital signs, ability to open IV cannula and draw blood, administer injection, administer IV fluid, provide adequate oxygen support to the patient, catheterize the bladder, provide parenteral nutritional support, respond to emergencies, basic life support) provisioning training, etc.). In this way, students gain experience in developing skills, teamwork, and intervening and making decisions in emergency situations by trying nursing practices many times on real materials, model patients and model departments.
