Aims & Goals

AIMS

Having the necessary knowledge, attitude and skills while performing nursing roles and functions, (Having the knowledge, attitude and skills appropriate to the purpose of each professional course, and using this knowledge, attitude and skill to protect and develop health behaviors for healthy/sick individuals, their families and society, early diagnosis, effective use in the rehabilitation process)
• Having professional and ethical values, (Having internalized the principles of not harming the individual, family and society-benefit, autonomy/respect for the individual, justice and equality, privacy and confidentiality)
• Adapts to change and development, (Adopts lifelong learning, follows scientific and technological developments in the field, is aware of globalization and its consequences, attaches importance to personal development, follows legislation, national and international current developments)
• Able to access and use evidence, (Knows how to access databases, scan professional literature, read research critically, use research results, develop research skills within the team, as well as plan a basic level of research and produce evidence)
• To raise graduates who can work collaboratively with the team. (Adapting to the job description of the team, assuming the role of team leader when necessary, being able to organize, solve problems, think analytically and make decisions, and work in harmony with the team).

 

GOALS


For Department of Nursing;

  • Accrediting the nursing program
  • To make vocational training laboratories suitable for the purpose of education
  • Becoming a Faculty of Nursing
  • Publishing a nursing journal
  • To improve physical conditions to increase the quality of education
  • To increase the number of teaching staff in accordance with the purpose
  • To increase the recognition and professional effectiveness of the nursing department

For Academic Staff;

  • Sending faculty members through exchange programs
  • To increase the scientific work of faculty members at the international level

For Students;

  • Accepting students with Erasmus
  • Increasing the number of students attending Erasmus and the number of collaborating universities
  • Encouraging students' participation in scientific activities (research, projects, congresses, workshops, symposiums, etc.)
  • To encourage and increase students' active involvement in communities
  • To encourage and increase students' involvement in social projects
  • Regularly receiving our students' opinions and suggestions through survey forms

For Graduates;

  • Monitoring of graduates (Vocational, career, postgraduate education)
  • Strengthening the relations of alumni with the department (including announcements and news for alumni on the website)
  • Strengthening the alumni association or social networks
  • Traditional meeting of graduates
  • To include success stories of graduates on scientific platforms
  • Receiving the opinions and suggestions of our graduates through survey forms


For Stakeholders;

  • To implement the Employer/Business Managers/Professional Organizations Representatives Sample Survey Form and the Employer/Business Managers/Professional Organizations Representatives Opinions Sample Questionnaire Form to determine the opinions of Employers/Business Managers/Professional Organizations Representatives.
